Slide’s Visit to Sumitomo (SHI) DEMAG

Back in August the Slide team of experts was able to join our marketing partner, Belniak Media, for a field trip to the Sumitomo Application and Tech Center in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. The purpose of the visit was to tour their plant and create videos and an image gallery of their injection molding machines in action. Slide’s products were used during this session to showcase just how well our mold cleaning and purging products perform.

The Sumitomo team – Jerry Jeter, Wes Lim, Tony Marchelletta and Sophie Lin could not have been more hospitable, and the equipment was fabulous in its ability to demonstrate Slide’s products in a real working environment. The plant and equipment were spotless and produced the perfect backdrop for shooting footage and developing some related videos. It was also a great educational experience for our marketing team to see the injection molding and maintenance process up front and in real time.
