EPA Calls Trichloroethylene (TCE) "Carcinogenic to Humans"

They made the top 10 list. The first in the list of chemicals to be evaluated for potential risks to human health and the environment under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) reform.

This evaluation will determine whether the chemicals present an unreasonable risk to humans and the environment.

Just a reminder, Slide Products eliminated all chlorinated solvents years ago. There are still other companies holding onto their formulations which use two chemicals.

A few years ago this final evaluation of trichloroethane was published by the EPA.

The final assessment characterizes the chemical as carcinogenic to humans...
