Slide’s Sales Manager, Betsi Burns, explains how she sometimes recommends customers to use mold wipes in conjunction with PC Polish Mold Cleaner (No. 433): “When a mold has a small surface defect or contamination that can be eliminated without a major repolish or repair, we suggest that they try to experiment by utilizing the polish cleaner to clear away the flaw, and then wipe the polish away with the mold wipe. Some techs will even rub the PC polish onto the affected area with the mold wipe, so the polishing and cleaning occur concurrently. Both products work in tandem at the bench, or while the mold is cooled down but still on the press.”
