Slide’s Anti-Seize Compound Solutions

Slide Anti-Seize Compounds

Slide provides a collection of unique products for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) that will help your plant and production line move efficiently. Among our offerings are two relatively new anti-seize compounds in aluminum and copper varieties.

Aluminum Anti-Seize Compound

The aluminum-based liquid dramatically reduces friction and torque between metal components and is ideal for applications in which non-similar metals are utilized by preventing them from fusing together.

Mold makers, maintenance technicians, or anyone working with metal materials will appreciate the capability of Slide’s Aluminum Anti-Seize Compound to provide increased performance, more temperature stability and better protection for mold components. This formulation is heat stable up to 2,000°F (1,093°C). Galling and seizing can be minimized by applying it to threads during assembly. Even after extended exposure to high loads and temperatures, the additional metallic and other solids remain on the threads to help prevent corrosion and simplify disassembly.

The water-resistant compound affords more chances to reuse damaged or threaded parts and is available in 2-oz. and 8-oz. brush top cans.

Copper Anti-Seize Compound

The Copper Anti-Seize Compound is superior to other similar products in protecting against high temps and corrosion and is heat bearing up to 1,800°F (982°C). As with our aluminum formula, it minimizes friction, torque, diminishes seizing/galling and improves assembly and disassembly functions.

The product is compatible with most metals and plastics, and will not harden, drip or separate. Copper Anti-Seize meets the performance requirements of MIL-PRF-907F. Brush top cans are available in 2-oz. and 8-oz. sizes.
